Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is prepared to explore a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.
The experienced forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which was the initial significant honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he previously was, and would certainly think about extending his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
